You can join Association of Professional Chefs as an APC Member (APCM) of the organization, as a Pro Member (APCPM), or you can be part of the Chapter Chairmen Program.

APCM refers to students and trainees whose careers are based on practical rather than academic or structured bases, while APCPM refers to trainee chefs, hotel school graduates who have been in the industry for more than 3 years and individuals directly involved in the hotel, hospitality and catering industry. They should have completed a recognized training course or been an APC Member (APCM)

APC Member ( APCM )

This is an "entry-level" membership that allows you to join the APC and gives you access to basic culinary education ( Food Industry Roles and Responsibilities ; Food preparation skills, Cooking methods, Online courses, and more advanced techniques ).

For trainees and students in the industry, students & members whose careers are based on practical rather than academic or structured foundations , who do not hold a qualification or are not part of a recognized program. This is an annual membership from which you can upgrade to a Pro-Member.

According to the statute of the APC, all cooks and trainees, working in the wider food industry (hotels, restaurants, caterers, schools, etc) can become members without exception. Companies or catering educational institutions can also become members of the APC.

On signing up as an APC member, you will receive a digital APCM badge and membership certificate. You will also have the right to use the digital badge with the designation letters appropriate to your membership type (APCM) on social media and you may create a hyperlink for your badge to our website.

APC PRO - MEMBER ( APCPM )

This is a "pro-level" membership that gives you access and education to “Food Skills and Techniques”, “Modernist Cuisine” , “Hospitality Industry”, “Guide To Running / Managing or Opening your own Restaurant “, Online courses, and much more

According to the APC statute, chefs working in the industry for more than 3 years and people directly involved in the hotel, hospitality, and catering industry can become pro-members without exception.

This is an annual subscription from which you can apply for Chapter Chairmen

Pro-members will have their details and their photo posted on our website, along with a link to their website or their social media profile.
